27th November 2009 What an evening at our Annual dance when it was held at the Holiday Inn, East Kilbride, with over 100 people attending. It can be summed up very quickly by saying that it was a highly successful evening, the food was good, the band were excellent who went under the title of "Beethoven"

and everyone just got into the party atmosphere from the very start. President Ray Porrelli started the evening off by welcoming everyone to what he regarded as one of the highlights of his year in office. Before the Dance & Meal got underway he mentioned the special contribution that George McGraw had made in his rotary membership and work with Let Us Shine and because of this he was very happy to call George forward and accept a Paul Harris Fellowship from the Club. Entertainment was provided by Pipe Major Fraser Dallas of EK Pipe band and the dancers from the Myra Miller School of Highland Dancers.

As a result of a raffle that was held during the evening the club allocated the proceeds for the purchase of an Shelter box.
